Wholesale PET Bottles: MOQ, Pricing & Delivery Explained

"Wholesale" gets used loosely in this industry — some suppliers mean a few hundred pieces, others mean a full truckload. Here's what to actually expect when sourcing PET bottles in bulk from a manufacturer rather than a trader.

Minimum order quantities

MOQ depends on whether you're ordering a stock size (round, square, long round, double side bottles, ghee and multipurpose jars) or a custom mould. Stock sizes have a much lower MOQ since the mould already exists and we're just running production; custom shapes carry a higher MOQ to justify tooling cost. If you're a smaller FMCG brand or a repacker just starting out, stock sizes are the practical entry point.

How pricing scales with volume

PET bottle pricing tracks resin (raw material) cost closely, so per-piece price moves with market resin rates over time — any quote you get should be understood as indicative for that period, not fixed indefinitely. On top of resin cost, larger order volumes get better per-piece pricing because machine changeover and setup cost gets spread across more units. Ask any supplier directly how often they revise pricing rather than assuming a quote holds for months.

Delivery across Tamil Nadu and beyond
